1.School Spotlight & Autumn 2026

Please briefly introduce your school and share one exciting project, club, event, initiative or campus update launching this autumn.

London Gates Belgrade is a bilingual international primary school at Francuska 29, in the heart of Belgrade, run by the London Gates Education Group, which has taught real English in cities around the world since 2010.

Cambridge-accredited and verified by the Serbian Ministry of Education, it follows the Cambridge Primary Curriculum for Years 1 to 6: the youngest learn half the week in English and half in Russian, the older ones fully in English with their native language and literature taught as separate subjects.

The opening of Lower Secondary classes is planned for the 2027/2028 school year, starting with Year 7.

2.Student Voice & Community

Can you share a student-led initiative, club, tradition or part of everyday school life that reflects the spirit of your student community?

Every school day ends with a Primary Talk (circle time), where children discuss the day and share their emotions. Each class has a dedicated tutor who leads daily circle time and connects school and family.

One day of the month is dedicated to a Meta-subject Day, exploring topics through project work. Students also participate in exhibitions and school festivals, presenting their projects. Throughout the year, they create sets and prepare roles in English during Drama lessons, culminating in the Final Show performance on the stage of a real theatre.

3.Future Skills & Beyond Academics

How does your school empower students to become leaders, creators and global thinkers beyond the classroom?

London Gates builds a team of teachers, psychologists, tutors, assistants and parents around each child. Their role is not just to provide knowledge but to inspire, support and guide. Learning is practical: children create and present projects, cook, make books, conduct experiments, draw comics and compose songs, and the aim is a love of learning and endless curiosity about themselves and others.

4.The School Vibe – in Three Words

Describe your school atmosphere in just three words, then share one short message for students across Belgrade this autumn.

People. Empathy. Curiosity.

Stay curious about yourself and everyone around you. Ask, build, perform and speak up in every language you have: that is how the world opens its gates.

Answers 1 to 3 written by the school on a draft The Bridge prepared from its website; the closing message and the three words are that draft, kept by the school. The courtyard and piano photographs are the school’s own; the circle and the telescope were chosen by The Bridge from the school’s website. The school approved this page on 24 September 2026.
