PYP, MYP and DP alongside the Serbian national programme. The school says the PYP has been present since September 2015 in candidate phase; the IB's own register records the Diploma Programme authorised 7 April 2006 and both the PYP and MYP authorised in April 2019. A cheaper Serbian national track runs beside the Diploma in Grades 12 and 13.

The facts

The school states it is the first private primary and high school in Serbia but publishes no year.

Grade 1 begins at age 5 – about two years earlier than 1. razred in the Serbian state system, so the grade numbers do not line up with the state ones. There is no nursery: the fee table and the admissions documents both begin at Grade 1.

No transport service is mentioned anywhere on the school's own site.

After school

Ruđer Bošković publishes sixteen activities on its own site – science, drama, art, choir, dance and folk dance, sport, language workshops, history… Their page is the current list; ours is dated.

These sit alongside the city's own clubs on our after-school activities page, which is the only place the two are listed together.

What the fee covers

Ruđer Bošković publishes a full fee schedule by year group. We do not reproduce fee figures; the school's own page is the source, so what follows is the structure of the cost rather than the amounts.

The school's fee table is headed 2026/27 while the page's own meta title still reads 2025/26. We have used the live table rather than the meta title, checked 24 August 2026.

Inside the fee. Compulsory and elective lessons; Seminars and research projects; School lunches; Health care; Security surveillance; IT support; School uniform; Coursebooks, notebooks and stationery; Field trips, museum, gallery, cinema and theatre visits; Excursions.

One-off charges. None published.

Payment plans. Fees payable at enrolment, with the option of quarterly instalments; Payment accepted in EUR, GBP or USD.

Not addressed anywhere public: School bus charge, IB DP examination registration fees.

Getting in

Rolling – the school admits year-round, subject to a place being free.

Deadlines. Applicants nominate a desired enrolment date; entry is not tied to September.

Testing. An English-language placement test is mandatory for all applicants. A trial day at school forms part of the process.

Documents. Grades 1-2: birth certificate plus pre-admission medical screening. Grade 3 and above: birth certificate, student grade book (đačka knjižica), transcripts. Due before the meeting or within 14 days.

Open questions we could not settle from the school's own published pages. We have not yet put these questions to the schools. When we do, the answers will appear here with the date we asked.

• Founding year – the homepage carries an undated “twenty years” banner, which does not sit easily with the claim to be the first private primary and high school in Serbia
• Whether uniform is required, or simply included in the fee
