1.School Spotlight & Autumn 2026

Please briefly introduce your school and share one exciting project, club, event, initiative or campus update launching this autumn.

Brook Hill International School was founded in 2012 by a group of educators with strong international expertise and today teaches children from 1 to 18, from kindergarten through Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A Levels, on four campuses in Dedinje. Our students learn in small classes alongside peers from more than 30 nationalities. This autumn a new Clubs Programme opens for secondary students, from Drama, Photography and Media Lab to Science, 3D Modelling, Debate and Mindfulness, starting on Monday 14 September.

2.Student Voice & Community

Can you share a student-led initiative, club, tradition or part of everyday school life that reflects the spirit of your student community?

In the primary school every child belongs to a House, the Lions, Foxes, Dolphins or Turtles, and each House elects its own Captain and Vice Captain, so leadership starts early and belongs to the students. The whole community comes together through the year: the Spring Charity Bazaar and Family Day, the Flower Show and Bake Sale, and Remembrance Day, when our students wore their red poppies and donated funds.

3.Future Skills & Beyond Academics

How does your school empower students to become leaders, creators and global thinkers beyond the classroom?

Our mission is to prepare students for life, combining world-class academics with the growth of character, confidence and curiosity. Six values guide everything we do: academic excellence, confidence, responsibility, innovation, reflection and engagement. Every child is seen as an individual with unique strengths, supported by personalised academic mentoring, while dedicated school counsellors guide older students through academic planning, university and career choices, and students present their own research at conferences.

4.The School Vibe – in Three Words

Describe your school atmosphere in just three words, then share one short message for students across Belgrade this autumn.

Confident. Curious. Engaged.

Potential needs a plan, not just a classroom. Find the people and the ideas that make you curious, and give them your best this year.
