What stands out about each
- IPS: The school describes itself as the longest running international primary school in Serbia; Nursery from age 1, with meals, transport and babysitting offered alongside the school.
- London Gates: Primary only — there is no secondary stage in Belgrade, so a family joining here will have to move the child again at about 11; Part of the London Gates Education Group, which runs centres in several countries; Runs weekend English and Russian supplementary schools alongside the full-time primary school.
IPS: IPS publishes very little: no admissions page, no fees, no curriculum detail and no history. Much of its site is unremoved template demonstration content from 2019, including a prices page filled with placeholder text and dollar figures that are not this school's fees and must never be cited as such.
What to ask both
Questions worth asking both schools, because neither publishes the answer:
- IPS: The 1948 founding date, which the school's own principal's message appears to contradict
- IPS: Whether the Cambridge accreditation is current, and for which programmes and year groups
- IPS: Fees
- London Gates: Admissions process
- London Gates: Whether the school is a registered Cambridge International centre, and its centre number
- London Gates: When the Belgrade school opened
- Both: last year's actual leaver destinations and average results.
- Both: how many teachers in your child's year group were also there last year.
- Both: whether the bus covers the street you will live on.

Which is better, IPS or London Gates?
Neither, in the abstract — and any source that answers that question is guessing about your child. The comparison that decides it is narrower: which one teaches the curriculum your child will finish in, has a place in the right year group, is reachable from where you will live, and can support your child's particular needs. This page is built to let you answer those four.
