Athletics for children in Belgrade
Athletics clubs that publish a children’s school, and where each one trains in winter. Everything here is from each provider's own page, with the date we read it. No prices, no timetables.
Updated September 2026 · providers' own pages read 7 September 2026, for the 2026/27 season
Four providers in Belgrade publish, on a page of their own, that they teach athletics to children. Two of the international schools in this guide also run it themselves — BIS and PRIMA — which is the half of the picture no activity directory carries.
All four, alphabetically
| Provider | Ages | Where | Their page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Atletski klub Crvena zvezda | 6-12, with a separate group for 5 and 6 | Savski Venac, Voždovac | akcrvenazvezda.rs |
| Atletski klub Partizan | from 4 or 5 | Savski Venac, Vračar, Voždovac | www.atletskiklubpartizan.rs |
| Atletski klub Top Jump | 7-12 | Čukarica | topjump.rs |
| Beogradski atletski klub (BAK) | Not published | Palilula | www.oakbeograd.rs |
Not one of these four states a language of instruction on its own site, so there is no column for it. What that means, and what to ask instead.
We do not publish prices, timetables or term dates for any of these, even where the provider publishes them. They change every term, and an out-of-date class time is worse than none at all. Every row links to the provider's own page, which is where the current schedule lives.
Schools in this guide that run it too
| School | What it names | Who can join | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| BIS | running, athletics | For its own pupils, as far as the school says | Their page |
| PRIMA | track and field | For its own pupils, as far as the school says | Their page |
Taken from each school's own activities page. A school is absent from this table either because it names nothing in this category or because it publishes no list at all — which schools publish one is set out on the index.
What this page does not tell you
Three things, deliberately. What it costs — the same rule the rest of this guide follows, and for the same reason: a price we copied in September is a wrong price by spring. When the classes are — timetables are rebuilt every term. Whether there is a place free — only the provider knows, and only today.
What we can tell you is that the provider exists, that they say they teach children, what ages they say they take, and where. That is the part that stays true long enough to be worth writing down.
Questions families ask
How young do the athletics schools start?
AK Partizan says children begin at four or five, learning to run properly before anything else. AK Crvena zvezda takes 6 to 12 and runs a separate “athletics kindergarten” for five- and six-year-olds. Top Jump’s Kids Athletics group is 7 to 12.
Where do they train in winter?
Indoors, and often in the same building: AK Crvena zvezda and AK Partizan both move most groups into the athletics hall at Banjica for the winter part of the season, while BAK uses Hala Pionir and a hall at the OFK stadium.
Why are there only four clubs here?
Because almost no Belgrade athletics club has a website. Around fifteen compete in the city’s athletics-school championships every spring and autumn, but most are reachable only through a Facebook page or a business directory, and this guide does not state a fact about a provider from either.
